Here is my take on 2021, in the form of a poem

This is what an Australian summer means to me - it's a bit abstract but it's meaningful to me. 13 stanzas of 4 lines, each of 13 syllables.

This poem was written when I thought I was turning a mental and emotional corner in October 2020.

This poem was written in a period of deep self-reflection, at a time where I was questioning my value to those around me.
